EMANICS proposes a networking session at the ICT 2008 event in Lyon, France in November. ICT 2008 is the biggest event organized by the European Commission regarding information and communication technologies and we should take this opportunity to discuss "Management Challenges of the Future Internet" with people from many different EU projects. EMANICS Workshop on Netflow/IPFIX usage in network management will take place October 30, at the LRZ munich, Gemany.

The goal of the workshop is to exchange and discuss experiences and ideas in the usage of Netflow/IPFIX in network management.

Our colleague Mark Burgess, from University of Oslo, was invited to give the keynote speech at the International Conference on Autonomic Computing (ICAC 2008) held in Chicago, IL, from 2nd to 6th of June 2008.

3rd - 4th July 2008, Jacobs University Bremen, Germany

The objective of the workshop on "Vision and Management of the Future Internet" that is co-located with the 2nd International Conference on Autonomous Infrastructure Management and Security (AIMS) is to present and discuss possible approaches towards the future Internet.

The NOMS 2008 took place from April 7th to April 11th in Salvador da
Bahia, Brazil.The event counted about more than 300 registrants.

This workshop will take place on May 14th, 2008 in Barcelona, at the UPC premises and aims to bringing together researchers from the Autonomic Communications Forum (ACF), the IST project Autonomic Internet (AUTOI) and EMANICS to discuss their respective challenges and potential solutions realizing the vision of the Future Internet.

The 2nd summer school on network and service management takes place June 2-6 2008 in Zurich, Switzerland. This school combines class room lectures with hands on lab sessions and primarily targets PhD. students working in the area of network and service management.
