European Network of Excellence for the Management of Internet Technologies and Complex Services
EMANICS is a Network of Excellence supported by the European Commission
Information Society Technologies 6th Framework Program. The network
brings together 13 of the best research teams across Europe in the
discipline of network and service management.
EMANICS addresses the scalability, dynamics, security and automation challenges that emerge towards the management plane of the future Internet and complex services running on top of it.

The second IFIP/IEEE International Workshop on Management of the Future Internet (ManFI 2010) will be held in conjunction with the IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2010 Conference on April 19, 2009 in Osaka, Japan. Manageability of the Future Internet must be considered from the beginning in any design approach and ManFI 2010 will provide a forum for researchers in this area. 1st IFIP/IEEE International Workshop on Management of Smart Grids, held in conjunction with IFIP/IEEE NOMS 2010, will take place on April 23, 2010, Osaka, Japan. The workshop targets the definition of the required underlying ICT architectures, monitoring and management technologies for smart energy grids.
