European Network of Excellence for the Management of Internet Technologies and Complex Services
EMANICS is a Network of Excellence supported by the European Commission
Information Society Technologies 6th Framework Program. The network
brings together 13 of the best research teams across Europe in the
discipline of network and service management.
EMANICS addresses the scalability, dynamics, security and automation challenges that emerge towards the management plane of the future Internet and complex services running on top of it.

NOMS 2008 took place from April 7th to April 11th in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil. The event counted more than 300 registrants.

This workshop will take place on May 14th, 2008 in Barcelona, at the UPC premises and aims to bringing together researchers from the Autonomic Communications Forum (ACF), the IST project Autonomic Internet (AUTOI) and EMANICS to discuss their respective challenges and potential solutions realizing the vision of the Future Internet.

The 2nd summer school on network and service management takes place June 2-6 2008 in Zurich, Switzerland. This school combines class room lectures with hands on lab sessions and primarily targets PhD. students working in the area of network and service management. It is organized by Burkhard Stiller and David Hausheer (EMANICS members).
